For more than 25 years, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people find the perfect window treatments for their homes. Through my business, Southern Elegance, I bring decades of hands-on experience designing, crafting, and installing everything from classic draperies to modern motorized shades.
My journey began in 1999 as an apprentice drapery installer at Bradford’s Furniture Company, working under my father - a master in the trade with over 35 years of experience. Under his guidance, I learned the art of precision, detail, and customer care.
Over time, I grew into the role of managing Bradford’s drapery workroom, overseeing a $1.2 million annual operation where I handled everything from measurements and materials to final installations. That experience taught me how to blend design and function to create window treatments that truly elevate a space.
In 2006, I launched Southern Elegance to expand into plantation shutters and other custom solutions. What started as a side venture soon grew into a full-service business, offering a wide range of products — including blinds, draperies, custom rods, and state-of-the-art motorized systems. When Bradford’s closed in 2015, I continued independently, partnering with local designers and workrooms while building Southern Elegance into the trusted name it is today.
